I’m Yuxin Chen, founder of EVOSTEP.

Before creating EVOSTEP, I embarked on a diverse journey. I was:

• An Evolutionary Biologist, exploring how cancer cells evolve within our bodies.

• A Systems Biologist, uncovering the role of miRNA in our gene regulatory networks.

• A NGO Co-Founder, mental supporting left-behind children in rural China.

• A Founding Scientist at a biotech company, leveraging machine learning to predict cancer cell behavior.

Now, my passion and curiosity have led me to a new chapter in life. I host events and build communities—especially for first-generation immigrants like myself. After feeling lost in the pursuit of a "successful life plan," I found inspiration among new friends and started creating spaces where people can form authentic connections. These connections become a catalyst for individual growth, creativity, and meaningful action.

My purpose is to help people build deep connections and make meaningful changes in their lives. I am committed to creating spaces where people feel seen, heard, and inspired.
